 Dolphin Beach Clean UpThanks to all who turned out to make our first Adopt-a-Stream clean up at Dolphin Beach in Monclair on Tues., Dec. 1st. such a huge success. I think we all had a great time and learned a lot about the lake through the use of the water monitoring kit. We discovered that the lake has a pH of 7.5, a temperature of 57 degrees F, 8 ppm dissolved oxygen and a turbidity of 40 JTUs (whatever that means). Do you all remember what turbidity means? I'll be asking you next meeting:)

 And the winner is...Congratulations to Jacqueline Schottler who designed our club's t-shirt. We had a lot of great designs to choose from and I know it was a difficult decision. Thanks to all of you who submitted designs and who voted.
Amount recycled 11.09.09Mrs. Lake and her students picked up 145 lbs. of white paper and cardboard . That is an increase of 126% over last week:)
